AS Monaco have signed defender Sadibou Sané from FC Metz in a deal worth up to €10m. The 21-year-old joins the Ligue 1 club after Metz's relegation to the second tier. Sané is set to sign a deal with AS Monaco that will run until 2031. He could become the next player to take the Génération Foot to Monaco via Metz route, following in the footsteps of Lamine Camara who joined Monaco from Metz two summers ago. The deal must still be closed, but an agreement in principle has been reached between all parties. More arrivals are expected, with deals for Nazinho and Mathys Detourbet both reportedly completed but not officialised.
